Capturing The Outback

Whether you are a novice or experienced photographer, Arkaba’s impressive scenery offers photographers first-class opportunities in The Flinders Ranges. An abundance of animals, birds and reptiles can be observed from the wildlife hide such as kangaroos and wallaroos, Australian ring-neck parrots, sand goannas and bearded dragons. Head out on a 4x4 drive and chase the golden hour against the mountain range at sunrise and sunset.

Arkaba runs specific and seasonal photography courses at certain times of the year including a photographic safari with Richard I’Anson, author of Lonely Planet’s guide to Travel Photography, Canon Master and World Nomads Mentor. You’ll capture South Australia’s Ikara-Flinders Ranges and Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre in all her majesty on a 5 day photographic experience.
