Silky Oaks Lodge
Silky Oaks Lodge offers an extraordinary experience of Tropical North Queensland, where Australia’s celebrated Daintree Rainforest meets the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. Set on 32 hectares (80 acres) of pristine rainforest above the gently flowing Mossman River, the retreat is ideally located to explore the region’s famed natural attractions.
Silky Oaks Lodge offers a stylish tropical rainforest escape offering 40 contemporary treehouses accommodating up to 82 guests. Dining at Silky Oaks Lodge celebrates the abundance of fresh ingredients harvested in Tropical North Queensland’s rich food bowl. The dining experience combines local ingredients with the nation’s finest premium produce in a refreshing and contemporary Australian menu.
Silky Oaks Lodge offers customisable spaces for celebratory events and special occasions, or a stimulating environment for business meetings and conferences. The Marrdja Pavilion is set high above the river and offers an open-air pavilion for a relaxed large meeting for 40 guests or a special private dinner event for up to 60 guests. Additional private spaces separate to the main lodge include the Kubirri Lounge; an ideal space for small meetings or intimate group dinners for up to 12 guests.
Guests are encouraged to explore the natural oasis of the Mossman River and Lodge grounds with inclusive experiences to reset the body and mind. For ultimate relaxation Healing Waters Spa set among lush gardens of the lodge and offers multiple treatment rooms with rainforest or river views. In addition, the team at Silky Oaks Lodge assist guests to tailor an exceptional group itinerary in the region for those wanting to explore the ancient culture of the First Nations Kuku Yalanji people at Mossman Gorge, or a daytrip to the world-famous Great Barrier Reef; there is something for everyone.
