Summer

A destination for all seasons, Kangaroo Island’s climate is as dynamic as the scenery, yielding fresh perspectives year-round. Summers at Southern Ocean Lodge are warm and dry with average daily temperatures at a comfortable 26°C. Go for a dip in the aqua clear waters of the protected beach at Hanson Bay, walk amongst enormous sea lions basking languidly on the beach and in the evening take cocktails onto the terrace beneath the magical southern night sky.
