Winter

Lizard Island on the Great Barrier Reef is an ideal winter destination in Australia. Temperatures remain in the high 20°s and the water is warm and clear. Humpback Whales begin their northern migration, curious Minke Whales often approach the tour vessel for a closer look and playful Spinner Dolphins may surf the bow wave on the outer reef trips.
