Winter
The gentle cool season from May to September offers daytime temperatures 18-22 degrees. With Capella Lodge as a luxe base camp, take to rainforest walking tracks and explore remote rocky coves alive with magnificent birdlife or valleys brimming with ancient plants. It’s not for the faint hearted, but the guided climb up Mount Gower is as one of Australia’s best day walks.
Property regular seasonal closure dates: Capella Lodge is generally closed for the months of July and August each year.
