Summer

Lord Howe Island enjoys a perpetual spring-like climate year-round. Sea breezes prevent the summers at Capella Lodge from being too hot, hovering at a very comfortable 25°C. The days are idyllic for taking mountain walks, relaxing on white-sanded beaches and exploring the riot of marine colour in the warm waters of the world’s southern-most coral reef. For diving and bird-watching enthusiasts, an expedition to Balls Pyramid – the world’s tallest sea stack – is an unforgettable island experience.
