Autumn

Dry season arrives in mid-autumn at Bamurru Plains. Nights can be cool and early morning fogs common. The days are warm, dry and generally cloudless with clear blue skies and spectacular sunsets. From April the water begins to ever-so-slowly recede from the floodplains through to about October.
