The Southern Ocean offers up a bounty of glorious seafood including the fabled King George Whiting. Reel and tackle in hand, beachcombe to a secluded beach nearby to Southern Ocean Lodge and cast off from the protected cove into the pristine waters beyond. While awaiting the tug on the line, enjoy some peaceful solitude, keeping an eye out for the local pod of dolphins. Return to the Lodge where the chef will transform the day’s catch into an epicurean delight for lunch or dinner. The beaches and coves are also a great spot for an early morning or afternoon walk. |
