Kayaking

Silky Oaks Lodge has an unrivalled riverside location on the beautiful Mossman River just downstream from the Mossman Gorge. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, the river provides abundant activities for guests to enjoy and immerse themselves in this incredible tropical location. Push out a kayak from the riverbank in front of the lodge and meander along, exploring the lush rainforest and the river life enveloped by the green canopy. This natural haven is serene and private.  You may even be lucky enough to spot the brilliant metallic-blue Ulysses butterfly.
