Saffire Freycinet has released a new Signature Experience for guests: Saffire After Dark, a quiet encounter with the cosmos and Tasmania’s extraordinary night sky. Expertly guided and thoughtfully paced, Saffire After Dark blends gentle storytelling with rare celestial objects beneath the Freycinet region’s skies – some of the clearest winter skies in the Southern Hemisphere.

Set within a softly lit outdoor viewing sanctuary, guests experience an intimate encounter with the universe through two high powered telescopes. Discreet heating, cosy woollen textiles, and a warming Tasmanian drink in hand, Saffire After Dark is a luxury stargazing experience like no other. A universe shaped over billions of years, now revealed in an unforgettable evening at Saffire.
