In celebration of the release of On Board’s expedition schedule extending through to November 2026, they are pleased to offer early-bird rates for prime travel dates. Experience the privilege of exploring Tasmania’s World Heritage listed remote and wild landscapes during On Board’s Port Davey Escape or East Coast Expedition.

Odalisque III, a purpose-built boutique vessel, accommodates a maximum of twelve guests in seven cabins. Launched in 2023 by On Board in Tasmania, this vessel offers an intimate and unparalleled expedition experience.

The daily adventures include guided nature walks and excursions by boat, meticulously planned according to bespoke itineraries. The activities are tailored to guest interests by expert local guides who serve as walking encyclopaedias, ecologists, and environmentalists.

Port Davey Escape

On Board’s signature five-day experience takes guests to Port Davey, a vast, fragile, and spectacular harbour in Southwest Tasmania that is inaccessible by road. This protected marine reserve, national park, and UNESCO Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area is swept by the westerly winds of the Roaring Forties, standing as one of the world’s last places of raw, untamed beauty.

East Coast Expedition

A cruise from Hobart to Freycinet (or reverse) offers an exploration of Tasmania’s east coast wilderness and national parks with spectacular guided walks and shore excursions. This intimate and immersive expedition allows guests to cruise past magnificent mountains and visit secluded beaches on the way to national parks, historic sites, and peninsulas. Each day, small groups embark on guided walks and shore excursions, encountering wombats on Maria Island, climbing the granite-capped peaks of Freycinet National Park, or taking clifftop bushwalks.

On Board’s Early Bird offer provides a savings of $1,800 per cabin for new bookings made before 31st July 2024. Port Davey Escape and East Coast Expedition packages start from $11,800 per person and includes ~
