What is included
Nightly rates at Southern Ocean Lodge include all dining, open bar with premium wines and spirits, in-suite bar, signature experiences and island airport transfers.
Southern Ocean Lodge promises a complete Kangaroo Island experience in a minimum two night stay. The great outdoors live up to their name with a Galapagos-sized contingent of endemic and unusual wildlife. Naturalist guides lead guests to first-hand experiences; a walk amongst the sea lions, up-close wildlife encounters and exploration of the ‘Wonders of KI’ there’s an adventure for every whim.
What optional activities are an extra cost?
An additional menu of bespoke KI experiences offers the chance to tailor a special interest itinerary. Activities operate on a limited share basis for an exclusive safari feel and include thrilling quad bike adventures, kayaking, beach fishing, nocturnal tours and guided hikes.
Housed in its own private clifftop pavilion, the Southern Spa offers a rejuvenating menu of treatments featuring the island’s own range of beauty ingredients, Ligurian honey and lavender among them.
