Lizard Island offers daily changing menus that draw inspiration from the local environment, presenting gourmet food and a fine selection of drinks. Fresh, local produce from the coast, mainland hinterland and waters of tropical north Queensland drive the daily menu with seasonal variety and flavours inspired by the many cultures that make up the melting pot of the local area. Dine in Salt Water Restaurant or enjoy Beachside Degustation Dining in one of two private pavilions on Anchor Bay.

Salt Water Restaurant

Simple and relaxed, Salt Water Restaurant is in an idyllic setting, allowing you to take full advantage of the 180-degree ocean views whilst enjoying the stunning food inspired by the freshest local produce from the waters around the island and from the hinterland of the mainland – much of which arrives on daily flights.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served at Salt Water with menus changing daily.

Private Beach Excursions

With a range of beaches to select from, you can select your own refreshment pack the night before and then following day, take a private dinghy and motor to a beach of your choice, or have one of our Marine team drop you off and return later to collect you at a predetermined time.

The true luxury of this signature Lizard Island experience is that you will have your chosen beach to yourselves.

Private beach excursions are included in your Lizard Island stay. Reservations can be made at the lodge 24 hours prior.

Degustation Beachside Dining

Two private beach pavilions sit on Anchor bay – each commanding spectacular views of the nightly sunsets. Here you will enjoy a 7-course degustation menu with accompanying wines. Be sure to reserve early as these are one of the most popular dining experiences on the island and book out.

*Subject to availability during your stay.

Driftwood Bar

In the evening, enjoy pre-dinner drinks at Driftwood where you get the chance to reconnect with others you may have met throughout the day – or – simply enjoy a drink watching the sun set.
