Fancy a ‘Southern Seafood Safari’ around the delightful Eyre Peninsula?
Just once a year the TRUE NORTH plies the seasonally placid waters of the South Australian coast.
The upcoming adventure starts in Adelaide on January 12 and concludes 8 nights later (with a return flight from Ceduna)…and this year’s Southern Safari features a brand new Day One.
Join your cruise director in Adelaide for a short coach ride to Magill Estate – home of the iconic Penfolds label and opportunity for a not-to-be-missed tour and tasting experience.
Next stop is the famed Barossa Valley and this year’s feature winery – Seppeltsfield. The Seppeltsfield story dates back to 1851 and since 1878 they have produced an unbroken lineage of Tawny. A private tasting in the Trophy Cellar is bound to be another first day highlight.
Scrumptious midday dining will follow at ‘Fino’ in Seppeltsfield’s original bottling hall and after lunch join your fellow adventurers in the Jam Factory – an amazing art gallery housed in Seppeltsfield’s historic stables and featuring artisans in residence.
Then it’s a short coach ride back to Adelaide and time to welcome all aboard the mighty TRUE NORTH.
Not a bad way to start an itinerary that also includes bucket-list Kangaroo Island, cage diving with great white sharks, swimming with giant tuna, oysters and champagne in Coffin Bay and, some of Australia’s most reliable in-shore fishing!
