Road Trips

Jul 23, 2020

A whiff of nostalgia? Or just itching to get out… the simple joy and freedom of a road trip. There are some wonderful luxury lodge options for drives from just sixty minutes to three hours from our major capital cities.Take a look at some of our suggested road trips…

From:

Sydney, journey across the Blue Mountains to regenerate both wilderness and spirit at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley or make a private escape to the Bouddi Peninsula with family and friends at Pretty Beach House

Adelaide to The Louise and the Barossa’s wines and vines,

Melbourne to Daylesford and the welcoming arms of the Lake House

Brisbane to mountaintop splendour and wilderness walks at Spicers Peak Lodge

Perth to Cape Lodge and the towering forests, wild beaches and incredible wines of Margaret River

A road trip is also a great way to meet the many local makers – the small-scale distillers, brewers and vignerons, the oyster growers, egg farmers and apiarists, the artists and craftspeople; many of whom supply the lodges, and are part of a rich and rewarding experience of regional Australia.
