Australian Good Food Guide Awards | The Peak | Spicers Peak Lodge

The Peak restaurant of Spicers Peak Lodge has been awarded in the Australian Good Food Guide 2023 Chef Hat Awards, with a score of 15 – a testament to the restaurant teams’ hard work, passion and commitment to creating remarkable food experiences for lodge guests.

The Australian Good Food & Travel Guide boasts a long and colourful history. Founded in 1977, two years of comprehensive research and compilation saw the release of Australia’s first national restaurant, accommodation and travel guide in 1979. Originally inspired by the Michelin and Gault Millau guides of Europe, the earliest guides carried the title: ‘Guide Bonvoyage’.

Throughout the decades pioneering principles and values have continued to set the standard establishing AGFG as Australia’s most respected rating authority. This year, all nine Spicers Retreats restaurants have been awarded Chef Hats.
