Australia is not only beautiful, it is big. And while some areas are facing devastating bushfires, much of our island continent is safe to travel and our Luxury Lodges are ready to welcome guests.
While we are deeply saddened by the loss of Southern Ocean Lodge, the Baillie Lodges sister properties Longitude 131, Silky Oaks Lodge and Capella Lodge, along with fourteen other lodges across this vast continent, are welcoming guests daily, and operating as normal, to deliver their amazing and uniquely Australian experiences. Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley is undamaged by fires, and planning to reopen towards the end of January.
Australia’s sheer scale is often misunderstood. See here for just how big Australia is. Our lodges are spread across a continent that is the size of the USA, and almost twice the size of UK and Europe combined. Our diverse and largely unspoilt landscapes and open space are luxuries of the rarest kind… from the unforgettable coast, reefs and islands incorporating Sal Salis, qualia, Lizard Island, Capella Lodge, Saffire; the vibrant food and wine producing regions home to The Louise, Cape Lodge, Lake House; the ancient rainforest sheltering Silky Oaks Lodge and the boundless horizons of our high country with Spicers Peak Lodge in big sky country, Pretty Beach House nestled high on the escarpment of the Bouddi Peninsula and our outback encompassing El Questro Homestead, Bamurru Plains, Arkaba, Longitude 131, True North and Mt Mulligan Lodge.
All these lodges are open for business and are ready to create memorable and genuine Australian experiences for their guests.
Australia’s luxury paradises are exclusive by virtue of their remoteness, their special location and the small number of guests they accommodate at any one time. Our collection of independent luxury lodges and camps offers unforgettable experiences in Australia’s most inspiring and extraordinary locations. Visit and see for yourself….view.
Immerse yourself in our local tourism industry still open for business and in time, return and support those rebuilding for the future.
