Saffire Freycinet has launched a new experience for guests – ‘Seafood and Sparkling Cruise’.

Cruise and sip on a flight of three exceptional limited release vintages from Jansz Tasmania specially selected for guests onboard Saffire – the Pontos Hills Vintage Cuvée 2018, Late Disgorged Vintage Cuvée 2015 and the Single Vineyard Vintage Chardonnay 2018. The luxury sparkling wine house’s unique style perfectly embodies the essence of Tasmania and its respect for the natural wilderness, ancient soils and untamed oceans, known as Méthode Tasmanoise.

Accompanying this tasting experience is a showcase of Tasmanian sustainable seafood, sourced from the finest harvest of the ocean.  Seasonal gourmet offerings include succulent Stanley Bay scallops paired with Granny Smith Apple, pickled West Coast octopus with Tasmanian wasabi and crisp leek, Tasmanian trout roe accompanied by compressed cucumber and crème fraiche, Pacific Gold oysters complemented with native Tasmanian pepperberry vinaigrette, and a black lip abalone skewer accentuated with radish.
