Wild Bush Luxury has announced two leadership appointments across its portfolio, with Frances Pollock appointed Lodge Manager at Arkaba in South Australia’s Flinders Ranges and David Noakes joining Bamurru Plains in the Northern Territory’s Top End as Lodge Manager.
Wild Bush Luxury delivers immersive, conservation focused experiences in some of Australia’s most remarkable and wildlife rich landscapes.
Frances Pollock joins Arkaba, one of Australia’s most celebrated conservation and luxury safari properties, located in the dramatic landscape of the Ikara-Flinders Ranges. A private wildlife conservancy, Arkaba offers an exclusive homestead stay and the multi-day Arkaba Walk, attracting guests seeking an authentic outback experience grounded in conservation and culture. Frances brings more than 17 years’ experience leading pastoral and tourism operations in remote Australia. Since 2008, she has been Managing Director of Wooleen Station in Western Australia’s Murchison region, where she repositioned the historic station as a recognised leader in regenerative agriculture and conservation led tourism.
David Noakes joins Bamurru Plains, a renowned wilderness lodge near the Kakadu National Park floodplains in Australia’s Top End. Bamurru Plains is known for its immersive safari style experiences, abundant birdlife and wildlife encounters, and its understated luxury that places nature at the forefront. David brings more than three decades of leadership experience across remote lodge operations, in Australia and New Zealand. He has recently held senior tourism roles in Queensland and New Zealand, managing remote wilderness lodges. He also brings a lifelong passion for exploration, environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism.
Ben Brown, General Manager of Wild Bush Luxury, said both appointments represent an important step in the continued evolution of the portfolio. “Frances and David each bring exceptional depth of experience in leading teams and managing complex operations in remote and environmentally significant landscapes. Their strong conservation values and commitment to authentic guest experiences make them ideal leaders for Arkaba and Bamurru Plains. We are pleased to welcome them both as we continue to strengthen Wild Bush Luxury’s position as a leader in Australian nature based luxury.”
