Mt Mulligan Lodge is offering in-house guests an opportunity this week to witness an Australian outback spectacle through their half-day and full-day mustering tours. With over 28,000-hectares of working cattle station, approximately 2,500 Brahman cattle can be spotted grazing around the property, adding to the picturesque charm of the luxury lodge.

Guests can join the Half-day Mustering Tour that takes them on a scenic journey through the lush valleys and winding rivers of Thornborough Paddock. During the tour, guests can observe the team on horseback as they muster the breeders and their calves. Guests can indulge in freshly made lamingtons and hot tea or coffee while enjoying the scenic waterhole during the mustering tour.

For those looking for a more immersive experience, the full-day Kingsborough Mustering Tour offers a chance to spend a day in the life of the cattle operators. Guests can witness the skill and hard work of the mustering team firsthand in one of the largest paddocks on the cattle station. The tour culminates with lunch at the historic gold mine of Tyrconnell Goldmine est. 1876, where guests can soak up the history of this incredible landscape.

Both tours are only available over muster dates and are perfect for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Guests are advised to bring their cameras and binoculars to capture the breathtaking scenery of Northern Outback Queensland.
