Mt Mulligan Lodge welcomes new Executive Chef, Lisa Mahar, who brings to the table a wealth of skills, knowledge and expertise. 

Chef Lisa’s work went from apprentice to Executive Chef in the Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm Restaurants in Tasmania before heading north to Sails – one of Noosa’s most iconic waterfront restaurants, working alongside Executive Chef Paul Leete. From 2016-2020, Chef Lisa worked for owners Richard Branson, Brett Godfrey and Radek Sali on Makepeace Island, cooking for the likes of Chris & Liam Hemsworth, Justin Bieber, and the MasterChef’s judges and hosts to name a few.

Lisa’s inspiration is derived from working with local, whole, ethically produced and organic foods and proudly shares the slow food philosophy. Mt Mulligan showcases a bounty of locally-sourced, caught and freshly-grown seasonal fare and Lisa’s passion for real, local and ethically produced food and is set to deliver a Northern Outback Queensland culinary experience like no other.
