Commercial Real Estate website has reviewed recent figures and detailed how affluent travellers are “spearheading a new golden age for Australia’s luxury lodges.”
“Strong demand has been driven by affluent guests, both domestic and international, seeking premium holidays that go beyond the norm.
Travellers in their 40s and 50s, in particular, are willing to pay a premium for immersive stays that combine gastronomy, wellness, cultural enrichment, and relaxation.”
CBRE identified 24 luxury lodges in Australia, including El Questro in Western Australia’s Kimberley region, qualia on Queensland’s Hamilton Island, Longitude 131° overlooking Uluru in the Northern Territory, Lake House in Daylesford, Saffire Freycinet in Tasmania’s Freycinet region, and Pretty Beach House in Sydney’s surrounds.
