Spicers Peak Lodge is hosting its 4th collaborative culinary event – Chefs on the Mountain. There are 5 wonderful offerings all about creating, celebrating and respecting food from wholesome, locally sourced ingredients that have been grown in pristine conditions by local neighbouring farmers.

Join Spicers Peak Lodge on 16 September 2021 as 5 incredible Queensland Head and Executive Chefs from The Peak, Homage, The Balfour Kitchen & Bar, The Long Apron, The Tamarind and the Scenic Rim Trail with Spicers Peak Lodge head chef Dean Alsford collaborate to treat you to a progressive lunch.

Thursday, 16 September 2021 at Spicers Peak Lodge

11.30am: Welcome to Spicers Peak Lodge. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival and check-in for those joining for the night

12.30pm: Start your progressive lunch around the plateau visiting lookouts, the central firepit overlooking the plateau and World Heritage-Listed national park and the famous red phone booth. Each Chef will create a dish from locally sourced produce and pair it with a matching wine.

2.00pm: Sit down to a long table for the final 3 courses paired wines from the Chefs on the terrace of the Lodge.

5.00pm: Safe travels home or for those staying for the night – make yourself at home!
