Hamilton Island Golf Club, on neighbouring Dent Island, is one of the world’s most spectacular settings for a round of golf. Designed by five-time British Open winner Peter Thomson, the Hamilton Island Golf Club is the only championship golf course on its own island in Australia.

The Lord Howe Island Golf Club | Capella Lodge

The Lord Howe Island Golf Club boats one of the most scenic and sometimes challenging 9-hole golf courses. This golfers paradise offers Capella guests gear for hire and invites visitors and locals to get involved on the weekly Sunday Social Competition. The course offers five par threes and four par fours, making it possible to complete a round of golf at your leisure.

Central Coast Golf | Pretty Beach house

Located just 30 minutes from Pretty Beach House is The Springs Championship 18 hole Golf Course – a first-class golf experience – consistently rated as one of the most popular on the NSW Central Coast. The par 72 course is set amongst bushland with sloping contours and panoramic views of the rural vista.

For guests seeking a coastal setting in the Sydney Surrounds, the aptly named Shelly Beach Golf Course is located right on the cliffs at Shelly Beach or a short ferry ride across Broken Bay will deliver you to Palm Beach Golf Club – all within range at Pretty Beach House.

Freycinet Golf Club | Saffire Freycinet

If golf is your sport, Saffire Freycinet is blessed with several picturesque, challenging and enjoyable 9-hole courses within two to 35 minutes’ drive. Saffire will happily provide golf clubs and bags and even assist with transport on request.

Dunsborough Lakes Golf Club | Cape Lodge

Located 20 minutes north of Cape Lodge is Dunsborough Lakes Golf Course, a championship layout offering guests 6200 metres of undulating greens and broad fairways interspersed with scenic lakes and water features. The same distance south of Cape Lodge lies one off Western Australia’s most highly regarded country courses – the Margaret River Golf Course. The 6092 metre Par 72 course features numerous water hazards with the back nine requiring careful shot consideration to navigate the undulating fairways, large trees and not to mention the family of resident kangaroos.
