Introducing Friends of Lake House ~ a curated series of events designed to inspire, celebrate and cherish with likeminded (new & old) friends. It may be a hands on cooking class, a guest chef, a special tasting, an exclusive look at some long cellared and storied wines, a reading or performance.

Keep an eye on The Lake House calendar of events regularly, as they are limited and often sell out quickly.

What’s coming up? A quick guide below:

Bindi Wine Lunch | Saturday 9 August 12pm | $525.00
Hosted by the iconic Michael Dhillon

“Steller”, “5 star”, “Some of Australia’s finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay”…. That’s likely what you have read of Bindi. “One of the icons,” says James Halliday. Established in 1988 – just after Lake House first opened its doors; Bindi is now renowned as one of the best wineries in Australia serving up top-shelf Chardonnay and remarkable Pinot Noir. This philosophy is applied to both farming and conservation at Bindi; the preservation of the natural harmony. Their wines are hard to come by and coveted by collectors, Lake House is grateful and proud to have the opportunity to share them with you.

Exclusive Release & Cellar Selection, Phillip Jones Wines | Saturday 6 September | $525.00
Hosted by Phillip Jones, renowned Winemaker, Founder of Bass Phillip Wines & Owner of Phillip Jones Wines.

For those in the know, Phillip is one of Australia’s best and most loved winemakers. Establishing his flagship wine label Bass Phillip in 1979, Phillip Jones sold the first wine from the vineyards 12 years later. The process was uncompromising and driven by the respect for nature, organic since 1993 and biodynamic since 2002. Whilst he sold the label and majority of vines in 2020, Phillip retained his most prized plot; a vineyard from which to produce very small quantities of Pinot Noir under his new label, Phillip Jones Wines. Now three vintages in, he is ready to share it with us alongside a very special lunch at Lake House also featuring wines from his own cellar including selected back vintages of his Bass Phillip label.
