The Lake House Christmas Pudding

The festive season has always been a very special time of year at Lake House and this much-loved House Christmas Pudding is sure to deliver a delicious hero to all celebrations.
 
Made locally, this is a dense pudding with rich abundant fruit; raisins, sultanas, currants, orange, lemon and grapefruit peel and segments, apples, ginger, spices and a generous dose of dark ale, rum, sherry and Madeira. 
 
Dress it up with dark fruits; cherries, blackberries, blueberries and mulberries or perhaps a simple caramel sauce with dried and glace oranges? It’s completely your choice. Lake House recommend an Amaro on ice to serve alongside, but you can also never go wrong with a glass of chilled Champagne.
