Christmas at Lake House has always been very special.

Guests gather from around the world to their “house on the lake” for an extended Christmas escape. Days are long and often start with a walk or bike ride around the beautiful lake shore. Breakfast is served in the shade of the Yunnan Poplars. Days are spent reclining in the orchard, pampering in the Salus Spa or exploring the main Village of Daylesford with its boutique shops, galleries and cafes.

In the evenings aperitivo on the terrace means a good classic negroni, cool martini or signature spritz…. Followed by dinner in the Lake House Restaurant.

On Christmas Eve guests gather for candlelight jazz and return to their room to find a fresh Christmas tree adorned with jewel like baubles.

Christmas Lunch is a grand affair served on a large banquet table in the Terrace. A multi course Festive Feast is served under wreaths of mistletoe, pine and fresh cut country roses.

Family & friends come and go for lunch and dinner and as always the Lake House Team are there to ensure every detail is taken care of.
