29th July – 2nd August 2018.
Join a photographic safari of Arkaba’s prehistoric outback landscape, abundant wildlife and the surreal beauty of Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre with photographer extraordinaire, Richard I’Anson.
An event occurring very rarely, only three times has inland Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre been in full flood in 150 years. This photographic safari has been designed to take you over the lake and surrounds affording you a truly unique opportunity to capture thousands of birds feeding on brine shrimp and other invertebrates in this extraordinary habitat.
Richard I’Anson, author of Lonely Planet’s guide to Travel Photography, Canon Master and World Nomads Mentor will lead you on this five-day photographic experience. You’ll capture Arkaba, our 60,000 acre private wildlife conservancy in South Australia’s Ikara-Flinders Ranges and Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre in all her majesty. Sharing expert knowledge and thoughtful tutelage, Richard will ensure you come away with stunning images. These are the kind of moments you’ll frame and value for years to come.
