Founder Families Harvest Thanksgiving – Sunday 23 April 2017.
Hosted by founder families Henschke and Angas, guided by Appellation’s chefs, tour and taste ancient Barossa recipes in today’s time and place. Starting with a walk of the glorious Hutton Vale Farm landscapes, guided by the Angas family, to picturesque Mount Edelstone Vineyard, where the Henschke’s will share a taste of the new vintage Mt Edelstone Shiraz. You’ll enjoy a modern-day thanksgiving feast of recipes from classic Barossa cookbooks honouring ancient foodways and giving gratitude to the gifts of centuries of land stewardship, surrounded by heritage countryside.
