While some find the remoteness and heat of Australia’s outback too hot to handle, Baillie Lodges Manager Adrian Levy is always up for the challenge. Having enjoyed a stint in the city for two years, Adrian has returned to the luxury basecamp Longitude 131° to head up its fine team of staff. He is well-equipped to run the property with efficiency, warmth and his signature cheeky grin – continuing to take the property to rock-star heights!
Adrian is a champion of the local Aboriginal artists and can often be seen leaving the property pre-dawn to make the trip to the Ernabella Arts Community some five hours’ drive away to bring back art for the lodge. He’s also working on building relationships with the local communities for the artists-in-residence program. There are two coming up soon at Longitude 131°, May 14-19 and July 16-21 which offer a rare chance to meet Aboriginal artists and watch them at work.
