The Louise, an idyllic luxury vineyard retreat, encompassing acclaimed restaurant Appellation, is situated on a gentle hill surrounded by hundreds of acres of vines, with breathtaking vistas across the world-renowned Barossa Valley.

Fifteen suites boast lounging spaces with open fireplaces and gourmet-stocked bars, shaded courtyards and marble-clad ensuites, each with its own private terrace and views over the surrounding vineyards.

Guests dine and relax in the main lodge, where sweeping curved walls reflect the lines of the landscape outside. Renowned for showcasing premium local ingredients, award-winning restaurant Appellation’s generously sized windows frame picturesque vineyard views and immerse diners in the environment.

Lounging spaces feature works commissioned by local artists and the walk-in cellar or ‘wine lantern’ is filled with a carefully curated selection reflecting the best of the Barossa, both old and new. Both art and cellar create a real sense of the place and its people.

Leading from a central walkway lined with the region’s signature grapevines, 15 private villa-style suites open onto rosemary-lined courtyards complete with outdoor seating.

With names honouring the neighbouring Barossa hamlets, the mindfully designed interiors of the Stonewell, Marananga and Bethany Suites emulate the feel of a European townhouse.

Guests make themselves at home in generous, high-ceilinged lounging spaces with feature fireplaces and luxuriously appointed king beds and ensuite bathrooms.
