All-inclusive rates include:

  • Overnight accommodation for up to two people (four people in the two bedroom lodge)
  • Light lunch experience
  • Pre-dinner bar canapés
  • Choice of five course tasting menu or three course a la carte dinner menu each night
  • All beverages throughout the stay (excluding cellar masters)
  • Daily mini-bar
  • A la carte breakfast
  • WiFi, onsite parking
  • Selected daily experiences with a weekly changing timetable including guided nature walks, 4WD discovery tour, self guided mountain biking, self guided bush walks, yoga.

Additional experiences, private touring and half day experiences are available at an additional cost.

Spicers Peak Lodge experiences sub-tropical climatic conditions typically with warm wet summers and mild dry winters. Temperatures range between daytime averages of mid 30ºC in summer, to low 20ºC in winter.

Dress code is casual with light clothing recommended for summer and warmer layers necessary for winter. Bring comfortable walking shoes so as that you can enjoy the walks throughout the region.

  • Arrive at one of several picturesque lookouts and enjoy a gourmet picnic and the backdrop of the breathtaking Scenic Rim views.
  • Take to the sky over the majestic Great Dividing Range on a scenic helicopter flight and land atop a private mountain clearing – Mount Mistake. Be captivated by the sheer beauty of the expansive views.
  • Enjoy stunning sunsets around the crackling campfire with canapés and drinks to whet the appetite for a sensational dinner ahead.

Spicers Peak Lodge is located two hours’ drive south-west of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland. Allow two hours from Brisbane Airport or 2.5 hours’ from Gold Coast Airport.

Private helicopter transfers from either Brisbane or Gold Coast Airports can be arranged on request. One way transfers take just 25 minutes and showcase the diverse landscape of the Scenic Rim from above.

Complimentary WiFi is available in all areas of the property, including the private lodges. There is mobile coverage with Telstra, although a little patchy in some areas.

Yes. Spicers Peak Lodge welcomes guests with children of all ages within the following parameters: Families with children of all ages may stay in the private lodges only and with specific dining arrangements. Families with children over the age of 12 can stay in the main lodge but can only dine in the restaurant in the evening at an earlier dining time.
