Getting There

Kangaroo Island is located 15km from the shores of mainland South Australia. The island measures 155km long by 55km wide. Situated at Hanson Bay on the Island's south-west coast, Southern Ocean Lodge is a 50 minute drive from the airport at Kingscote or 90 minute drive from the ferry terminal at Penneshaw. There are a range of transport options to and from Kangaroo Island for both domestic and international travellers.

Nearest Airport: Kingscote KGC. General Air Charter available. Can be utilised by small to medium private jets, larger jets on application for dispensation. (50 minutes’ drive to Southern Ocean Lodge). A helipad is located on site at Southern Ocean Lodge.
