qualia offers guests the indulgent choice of one-bedroom Windward or Leeward pavilions, each with breathtaking views which blend harmoniously with the rare, natural beauty of the island and provide an indulgent space to relax and unwind. Or, there is the uncompromising luxury and privacy of the one and only two-bedroom Beach House, with its own guest quarters, private lap pool and inspiring views. qualia welcomes guests 16 and over.
Each pavilion is situated to capture the most idyllic views of the ocean, and the colours and textures of the natural landscape are echoed in the lodge’s design.
Windward Pavilion
The north-facing Windward Pavilions offer expansive, postcard views of the Coral Sea and Whitsundays. The beautifully appointed pavilions feature a living room, separate bedroom with a king bed or twin on request, ensuite and offer the added indulgence of a private plunge pool.
Leeward Pavilion
The south west-facing Leeward Pavilions offer you a serene outlook of both the Island and the Coral Sea. They boast a private sundeck, which is the perfect place to capture the warmth of the sun during the day and amazing sunsets at dusk.
Beach House
For something truly special, experience the Beach House at qualia for the ultimate secluded hideaway. With a main bedroom and ensuite, spacious entertaining area featuring a large flat-screen TV with surround sound, a 10-person dining room, a private full-sized swimming pool, as well as a separate guesthouse, the Beach House is an indulgence like no other.
Accessible Accommodation Stay
qualia offers a Leeward Garden View Accessible Pavilion that has been designed for easy and comfortable wheelchair access, and a CPAP machine can be accommodated. A wheelchair accessible van can be arranged for guests prior to arrival. Guide Dogs are welcome at the lodge with approval from Civil Services.

qualia Classic: The qualia Classic rate is inclusive of on-island transfers, daily a la carte breakfast served at the Long Pavilion, non-alcoholic beverages at qualia, use of non-motorised water craft and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests have access to the VIP chauffeur service as well as their own two-seater golf buggy, allowing the rest of the Island to be explored at a leisurely pace.
