El Questro opens on the 1st of April every year and closes on the 31st of October for the months of the wet season.

The Kimberley region of Western Australia has a tropical climate that see two distinct seasons. From May to September, the Dry season sees very little rain and long, sunny, cloudless days.  Temperatures in the dry season are cooler than the very hot wet season, ranging between 31 and 37ºC. The wet season spans from October to April, a time of increased humidity and increased rainfall (32-40ºC). The rivers become full and masses of wildlife congregate on their shores.

The dress code is relaxed, smart casual with suitable footwear for bushwalking. Hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are essential protection from the sun.
