Restaurant Supervisor - Western Australia
Cape Lodge is currently seeking a full-time restaurant supervisor.
The Restaurant Supervisor will represent the Restaurant Manager in his absence by leading the team during evening shifts and sometimes at breakfast when required.
The Restaurant Supervisor will support the Restaurant Manager in running the restaurant’s operation and assist him in training, hiring and developing our team members.
This is a very hands on role that will require a strong organization and amazing people skills.
Good overall knowledge of wine and beverages is necessary as the shift leader doubles up as Sommelier when required.
A good understanding of hospitality KPI’s (cost control, wage management, purchases) will be valuable as the role will quickly evolve toward an Assistant Manager role.
Cape Lodge is a small luxury boutique hotel comprising 22 rooms and a relatively small restaurant with about 40 seatings and a team of 7 to 10 depending on the season.
There would be opportunities to further your experience in management, develop and grow our bar and wine offering, increase your restaurant administration skills and cross training options in between departments.
This is a full time position for a start in June 2019.
