About The Role

• Live on island, full time permanent position
• Pebble Beach – hatted, tasting menu by water’s edge
• Long Pavilion – breakfast and dinner daily
• Fine Modern Australian cuisine; a la carte, tasting menus and in room dining
• Provide a high standard of food & beverage service in an enthusiastic and friendly manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction at all times; efficiently and courteously dealing with requests, enquiries and complaints
• Maintain Hamilton Island’s consistent standards of excellence

About You

• Valid QLD RSA
• Open Australian driver licence
• Previous experience in a la carte fine dining or luxury boutique hotel
• Willing to work across breakfast, lunch and dinner service
• Experience with tasting menus advantageous
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Impeccable personal presentation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality an asset
