Your Opportunity:

Due to increased demand, we now have several full-time, permanent opportunities for Professional Fine Dining Section Waiters to offer a superior, attentive dining experience for our highly esteemed qualia guests.

Requirements for this role:

• Fine dining or hatted restaurant experience OR a la carte section waiting in a five star restaurant, resort or luxury lodge is ESSENTIAL (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of wines, in particular fine wines and champagnes and meal pairings (ESSENTIAL)
• Degustation experience (HIGHLY DESIRABLE)
• WSET/Sommelier accreditation (HIGHLY DESIRABLE) – please attach to application
• Other credentials as specified below

About You:
With previous extensive experience in a la carte section waiting and delivering degustation and tasting menus, you take great pride in guiding guests through their gastronomical experience. Your sequence of service and serving etiquette is perfect (or very close to) and you’re a genius at controlling the pace, always anticipating our guests’ needs before they do. You know how to be attentive when needed and pleasantly absent when not. Your humour and ability to converse warmly and with intellect is always received well by our discerning clientele.

• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
• Must have Nationally Recognised ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ Certificate
• Driver’s License (essential)
