Due to an internal promotion, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Lodge Manager to join The Louise team.  This team is close-knit, attracting hospitality professionals from around the world and creating a family for guests and staff alike. Renowned for their relaxed and friendly first-name service, our people offer the magic that keep our friends returning for more. 

The Role 

This senior leadership position will oversee lodge operations, working closely with department leaders to support and assist them across all day-to-day operational issues. Your day will be spent welcoming guests on arrival, managing all Guest Services, Housekeeping and driving a positive team culture to enhance the guest experience and deliver business goals.  

With this role comes a strong focus on working with the Food and Beverage team – so an ideal role for a Food and Beverage manager looking at taking their next career step.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic hospitality professional who can effortlessly move between strategic management as well as being a hands-on leader who can support the small team in daily operations.

You will have… 

  • Sound knowledge of key operational departments within the lodge including Guest Services, and Housekeeping 
  • Operational experience and passion for working with the Food and beverage team. 
  • A great sense of humour and the ability to instil this approach in your team 
  • The ability to develop and mentor team members 
  • Strong financial acumen and organisational abilities  
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of guests and team members  
  • Experience with RMS reservations system and Microsoft Office programs
