Once the waters from the floodplain recede in dry-season, guests at Bamurru Plains can journey out with one of the lodge's knowledgeable guides in an open-top 4X4 vehicle to gain a unique insight into the Top End's fragile ecosystem. The open-sided safari vehicles feature shaded canopies with comfortable and raised seating to provide the best possible vantage point to view wildlife such as agile wallabies, estuarine crocodiles, wild brumbies, buffalo’s, whistling ducks and magpie geese to name a few.
