Guests at Pretty Beach House can meet and mingle with inspiring Indigenous folk and hear traditional Dreamtime stories as they meander over cliffs and through the wild landscape. Visit one of the 100 Aboriginal sites that have been recorded in the park which include Indigenous rock engravings and other fascinating archaeological deposits. Hear the history of the local Darkinjung culture and begin to take in the knowledge about Aboriginal people’s kinship with the ocean and the land. This unforgettable experience includes viewings of Indigenous sites, information on edible/medicinal wild plants, a didgeridoo lesson and also a traditional fire-making session. This tour may include offsite locations, including the Bouddi Coastal Track. The Coastal Track runs from Putty Beach to MacMasters Beach. Boasting beaches, boardwalks and birdlife, it’s known as one of the most beautiful walks in the area. This relatively easy hike is characterised by sweeping views, shady rainforest and spectacular sandstone cliffs.
