The world needs more Intrepid people: 

Bamurru Plains is an all-inclusive Australian safari camp in the Northern Territory's tropical Top End, where guests experience some of Australia's most spectacular wildlife and birdlife. Set across more than 300 square kilometres of pristine floodplains and savanna woodland on the edge of Kakadu National Park, this exclusive, off-grid destination features just twelve guest lodgings, offering an intimate wilderness experience for our guests.

 

The Opportunity  

Bamurru Plains caters up to 30 guests, and we are looking for a highly talented and passionate Lodge Manager to oversee all aspects of the daily operations. You’ll manage and refine the day-to-day, ensuring every guest receives the ‘Intrepid Experience.’ You’ll collaborate with all functions from front-of-house service to behind-the-scenes logistics to ensure everything is operating efficiently and effectively, while keeping a sharp eye on revenue, cost control, and market positioning.

This is more than just a management role - it’s about bringing the lodge to life, embodying our values and setting the tone for an unforgettable guest experience. Whether it’s fine-tuning operations, mentoring your team, or implementing new ways to enhance our services, you’ll be the driving force behind Bamurru’s success as a luxury lodge, and it’s subsequent growth.

This is a full time role based on site at Bamurru Plains, offering free on-site accommodation, meals and other fantastic benefits!

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:  

  • Have proven work experience as a Hotel Manager in luxury accommodation
  • Proven ability to manage guest experience and optimise operational performance
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Good business analytics and financial management skills within a hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and negotiate

About the role

As a Spa Therapist, you’ll play a key role in delivering deeply personalised spa experiences within Saffire’s luxury day spa. From tailored facials and massages through to body treatments, you’ll create a calm, welcoming environment where guests feel genuinely cared for.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in the detail, values meaningful guest connection, and is looking to establish themselves within a high-performing luxury environment.

You will:

  • Deliver facials, massages and body treatments to a high luxury standard
  • Tailor treatments to each guest’s individual needs and preferences
  • Create a warm, calm and professional spa experience from arrival through to departure
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across treatment rooms, guest presentation and product knowledge
  • Work closely with the wider Saffire team to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Contribute to a supportive and consistent team culture

 

You’re someone who:

  • Is looking for more than just a short-term role and values stability, growth and belonging
  • Holds a Diploma or Certificate 4 in Beauty Therapy/Diploma in Massage Therapy
  • Has previous experience in a luxury lodge, premium spa or similar environment
  • Brings a natural sense of care, professionalism and attention to detail
  • Communicates warmly and confidently with guests and team members
  • Is reliable, flexible and comfortable working across a variety of shifts
  • Holds a current driver’s licence and has reliable transport due to the location

About the role

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering remarkable dining experiences, with seasonal menus showcasing Tasmania’s finest produce. Guests enjoy local seafood, cool-climate wines and artisan ingredients across Palate Restaurant, the Lounge, or within the privacy of their suite.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step and establish themselves within a high-performing luxury environment, with the opportunity to grow into future leadership roles.

You will:

  • Lead by example in delivering warm, personalised service aligned with Saffire’s luxury standards
  • Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar
  • Build authentic connections with guests and create memorable, tailored experiences
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and wine pairings
  • Mentor, train and develop team members, fostering a strong and stable team culture
  • Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and capability-building across the team

  • Support ordering, stock control and inventory management

Restaurant Manager | Kangaroo Island, SA

About the Role

Southern Ocean Lodge is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our Food & Beverage team and deliver an exceptional dining experience in one of Australia’s most celebrated luxury lodge settings.

In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, guiding guests through a relaxed yet refined dining experience while ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation and attention to detail. You will work closely with the kitchen and leadership team to create a seamless and memorable guest journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the Food & Beverage team
  • Delivering a high-quality, personalised dining experience
  • Managing restaurant operations, including rostering and service flow
  • Maintaining exceptional service and presentation standards
  • Monitoring labour and operational costs

About You
