About the role
As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play an important role in delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests. Working closely with the kitchen brigade, you’ll help maintain high standards, contribute to a positive team culture and support the delivery of seasonal menus that showcase Tasmania’s renowned produce.
At Saffire, our menus evolve regularly and are shaped by the season, the produce and the guest experience, creating a dynamic and rewarding environment for passionate chefs.
You will:
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes that reflect Saffire’s luxury standards
- Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs and broader kitchen team
- Support the smooth running of your section during service
- Contribute to menu execution, preparation and daily kitchen operations
- Maintain strong food safety, hygiene and kitchen presentation standards
- Bring energy, care and consistency to every shift
- Support and work collaboratively with the team to create exceptional guest experiences
You’re someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar level role
- Has experience in a premium, fine dining, luxury lodge or similar environment
- Has a genuine passion for food, local produce and creating memorable dining experiences
- Brings professionalism, reliability and attention to detail
- Enjoys working as part of a close-knit, high-performing kitchen team
- Is flexible and comfortable working across a range of shifts
- Is keen to keep learning, developing and improving
- Holds a current driver’s licence and has reliable transport, due to the location
- Is available to work from August/September through to March as part of our peak season team
