Luxury Lodges of Australia proudly celebrates members who pair exceptional guest experiences with meaningful conservation action. Morris Escapes exemplifies this commitment through its Reef Keepers program, an initiative making a tangible difference to the future of the Great Barrier Reef.

In the past financial year, Morris Escapes contributed an additional $407,000 to vital reef conservation projects. This funding is generated through a pledge to donate a minimum amount per guest stay at its properties—including Orpheus Island Lodge and Pelorus Private Island on the Great Barrier Reef, and Mount Mulligan Lodge in Northern Outback Queensland — alongside the generosity of guests who choose to give more.

Since the program’s inception, Reef Keepers has now donated more than $3.3 million to reef protection and restoration initiatives, supporting one of the world’s most precious and fragile marine ecosystems. Each stay becomes an opportunity for guests to actively contribute to conservation, ensuring that luxury travel and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.

Programs like Reef Keepers reflect the values at the heart of Luxury Lodges of Australia: immersive experiences that are deeply connected to place, people and purpose.
