Discover the celestial wonders of the Bouddi Peninsula through the lens of Aboriginal astronomy on a captivating Dark Sky Storytelling Tour with Girri Girra Aboriginal Experiences.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the night sky above Pretty Beach House, this immersive 1.5-hour guided experience offers rare insight into the ancient stories woven into the stars. With minimal light pollution and sweeping ocean vistas, on a clear evening guests enjoy uninterrupted views of constellations, planets, and—on special nights—the ethereal glow of the Aurora Australis.
From Hawkes Head Drive to the boardwalk of the Bouddi Coastal Trail, each location offers a unique vantage point for this enriching cultural experience. As the stars emerge, your Indigenous guide shares stories of the Mirrabooka (Milky Way), the Sky Father, and other sacred celestial narratives passed down through generations. The sounds of a didgeridoo may echo under the stars, deepening your connection to Country and cosmos.
Return transfers are included and a light supper can be arranged on request.
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours (usually 7:30pm–9:00pm, subject to sunset). Tour timing may vary to align with the ideal dark sky conditions. Please pre-book with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
