Tasmania’s all-inclusive luxury lodge Saffire Freycinet has launched an enticing new offer for Tasmania’s beautiful cool season, with 20 percent savings on all stays of three nights or more.
On sale now for a limited time, the cool season savings are available for stays at Saffire Freycinet between 1 May and 30 September, 2025, spanning the end of Tasmania’s vibrant autumn, exhilarating winter, and start of spring, each distinctly different and abundantly on display. Experience the unique charm of Tasmania’s east coast during the cooler seasons, where clear skies meet calm bays, eagles soar high, and migrating whales frequently visit.
This offer encourages guests to relax and spend rewarding holiday time exploring the Freycinet region – perhaps hiking or boating around Wineglass Bay, taking quiet beach walks, joining our beekeeping experience, connecting to country while learning about the local flora and fauna, enjoying fine local food and drinks, and indulging in rejuvenating spa treatments – all with Saffire Freycinet as a luxury base.
Beyond the lodge, guests can enjoy relaxing aboard the popular Seafood and Sparkling cruise and spot whales as they glide in the bay. Seals can be seen basking in the sun at nearby seaside town Bicheno as part of the Waubs Harbour Whisky experience – home to Tasmania’s maritime single malt whisky – while the sound of Pacific Gulls is a reminder that the hustle and bustle is far, far away.
The daily-changing menu is curated by Saffire’s on-site Executive Chef, Toby Raley. Mr Raley, who has worked alongside world-renowned chef’s including Brett Graham, Heston Blumenthal and Peter Gilmore, combines his culinary expertise with a predominantly Tasmanian-sourced pantry, together with fresh, sustainably-grown seafood: oysters from nearby Dolphin Sands; southern rock lobster from the lodge’s surrounding waters; and octopus from Stanley in the state’s north. The Robbins Island wagyu beef is a standout, along with aged lamb loin and farmed venison from Springfield Farm.
“We are spoiled with the finest and freshest produce in Tasmania including from our own kitchen garden on site,” said Mr Raley. “We are incredibly fortunate that our state teems with world-class seasonal produce – including Tasmanian winter truffle. Our guests enjoy discovering, tasting and savouring exceptional food and wine experiences through our all-inclusive accommodation package. Designing our cooler season menus is always a delight, as we have so much to work with,” remarked Mr Raley.
Saffire Freycinet General Manager, Dylan Counsel, said the cool season offer was designed to offer guests more time to indulge in unparalleled relaxation and create lifelong memories at their own pace, for less. “There’s so much to discover here at Saffire on the beautiful Freycinet coast,” said Mr Counsel. “A mid-year escape is the perfect way to relax and recharge, to taste local wines and meet the winemakers, to enjoy walking adventures, or savour oysters shucked fresh from the lease. There’s also the pure delight of just kicking back and lazily watching the ever-changing, end-of-the-bed views of the Hazards Mountains,” said Mr Counsel.
All-inclusive rates on the 20% Savings Saffire Luxury Cool Season Offer start at $2320 per night for two guests. Offer closes 30 March 2025.
