Accommodating up to 28 guests, the all-inclusive Orpheus Island Lodge is located on the Great Barrier Reef, stretching across 11km of immaculate turquoise coastline.

The main pavilion features a beach-front restaurant, bar, alfresco dining area and reading room, complemented by the Gwandalan Day Spa and an inviting infinity pool that mirrors the Coral Sea.

With direct access to the powder-soft sand and inviting water mere footsteps away, guest rooms are thoughtfully curated retreats. The lodge offers a range of room types, each offering an authentic and full-sensory island living experience. Each villa and suite is bathed in natural light and faces the beach. The thoughtful layout ensures optimal privacy and ease of access to the shore, and calming colour palates inspired by nature and quality natural textiles inform the furnishings and décor.

All rooms at Orpheus feature a selection of quality reading material, a Bose surround sound system, yoga mats, beach towels and bags, a gourmet minibar restocked daily, and integrated televisions with satellite connection. LaGaia Unedited bathroom products, bath robes and slippers are just some of the amenities in the generously proportioned ensuite bathrooms.

A sprawling single residence with five luxurious suites, Pelorus Private /sland is the region’s only luxury private island abode.

Pelorus Private Island welcomed its first guests in February 2024. The 913m² residence is meticulously maintained so every guest feels they are the first to set foot on its silky wooden floorboards.

Clad in fresh white-washed shiplap, the private residence or ‘villa’ accommodation on Pelorus Private Island has been designed to optimise its location on the point of the island, light-filled, capturing the sea breeze, with direct beach and water access. 

The residence features include expansive open-planned lounge and dining areas that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living, a fully stocked bar, an open kitchen and bar area with built-in teppanyaki grill waiting for guests to be entertained and indulged by a private chef. These generous proportions make it perfect for families and friends looking to share an unforgettable island escape.

Outside, inviting beachfront dual hot and cold pool and generous breezy verandahs constructed from spotted gum provide generous nooks and lounges with endless Coral Sea views from which to laze, read or chat. 

Up to 11 guests can enjoy an all-inclusive ultra-luxe stay at Pelorus. The residence boasts five private suites, each furnished with a curated selection of handmade designer furniture and textiles, blending timeless sophistication with off-duty island style. Freestanding king beds draped in Italian linen and duck-feather-filled pillows provide luxurious comfort, while the in-room lounge is a quiet setting for reading and recharging in privacy.
