Katrina Holden, for Karryon, provides an insightful update on the second day of ILTM Asia Pacific 2024, where luxury brands and destinations are in the spotlight, including Luxury Lodges of Australia and Bullo River Station’s experiences.

ILTM Asia Pacific convened approximately 1,300 suppliers and buyers in Singapore in early July, creating a vibrant hub for discussions on the future of luxury travel.

Sarah Mackenney, Head of Global Partnerships and Distribution at Tourism Australia, presented the latest developments in the Signature Experiences Program, highlighting the essence of luxury in Australian travel.

“There are now 49 members in the Discover Aboriginal Experiences collective” Mackenney noted. “New experiences include the Bullo to Bungles air safari in Kimberley, Western Australia, run in conjunction with Bullo River Station.”

Furthermore, Mackenney shared impressive growth in Australia’s luxury accommodation sector. “Since 2020, 236 new hotels have opened in Australia, many of which are luxury properties. There are now 19 properties in the Luxury Lodges of Australia, all naturally and each a unique representation of its region.”

As ILTM Asia Pacific 2024 continues, the focus remains on showcasing the pinnacle of luxury travel experiences and fostering meaningful connections within the industry.
