The team at The Louise is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Australian String Quartet (ASQ) for its Barossa Weekend of Music in August in South Australia’s iconic Barossa Valley wine country. This collaboration offers guests access to dining, accommodation, and tickets to exclusive events through the luxury lodge’s two-night package. The Barossa Weekend of Music is the latest addition to The Louise’s popular series of food, wine, and cultural events.

The inclusive package spans from Friday 30th August to Sunday 1st September 2024. Guests will enjoy performances by the Australian String Quartet at esteemed Barossa Valley cultural venues, including Tanunda Hall and the JamFactory. Exclusive events include drinks with the Quartet at the Wonderground gallery on Friday afternoon, with a preview of the Incandescent exhibition featuring Tanya Wales, Nona Burden, Monica Morgenstern, and Renee de Saxe.

The event pairs with local dining and wines at The Louise’s restaurants, Appellation and Contour. Highlights of the weekend include ~

  • Exclusive afternoon drinks at Wonderground Gallery.
  • Evening Australian String Quartet concert at Tanunda Hall.

  • Australian String Quartet concert at JamFactory, followed by lunch at Fino, Seppeltsfield.
  • Evening Australian String Quartet performance at Contour.

  • Morning conversation with the artists over a late breakfast at The Louise.
  • As part of the partnership, The Louise will donate ten percent of the proceeds from all direct bookings to support the Australian String Quartet’s commitment to Australian music.

The Barossa Weekend of Music’s package at The Louise continues the tradition of popular weekend events at the lodge, following successful collaborations with Yalumba and Seppeltsfield Wines. These weekends have provided guests with behind-the-scenes tours, personal interactions with winemakers, and fine local dining and wines.

The Barossa Weekend of Music packages start from $4,700 per suite for two nights and includes ~

  • Two nights luxury Accommodation at The Louise.
  • Gourmet breakfast, pre-dinner drinks and snacks.
  • In-suite bar with a selection of house-made treats and beverages.
  • Friday afternoon drinks at Wonderground Gallery, evening concert at Tanunda Hall and dinner in Contour.

  • Australian String Quartet concert at the JamFactory and a three-course lunch with wine at Fino.
