Bookings are open for the Sal Salis, Ningaloo Reef 2024 season.

There’s nowhere quite like Sal Salis. Picture a teal-blue ocean containing a World Heritage-listed reef, gentle waves lapping at white sand. A line of low-lying shrubs marks the edge of the beach and the start of the sand dunes. Discreetly nestled in those dunes are just 16 eco luxury wilderness tents, all with sea views.

5-day Best of Sal Salis

4-day Experience Sal Salis

Spend your days discovering the reef, swimming with gentle giants, or exploring on land with guided walks in Cape Range National Park. Nights are idled away under a blanket of stars. The food is exceptional, the service exemplary, the memories enduring.

Places to explore ~

Ningaloo Reef – the northwest coast of Western Australia harbours a remote and wildly beautiful coral reef named Ningaloo Reef / Nyinggulu which houses more than 50% of the Indian Ocean’s coral species. With access to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef along all points of the coastline, dive into the azure waters with a marine world below

Turquoise Bay – located along Australia’s Coral Coast lies Turquoise Bay, a coastal gem that boasts stunning natural beauty. With its pristine white sands and unbelievably clear turquoise waters, the bay creates a picturesque scene that’s almost surreal. What lies beneath the surface is full of beauty too, with colourful coral formations and diverse marine species.

Yardie Creek – nestled in Cape Range National Park, shines as a jewel with its crimson limestone cliffs set against deep blue waters. Its allure is timeless, especially during sunrise or sunset, providing a picturesque backdrop for birdwatching and wildlife encounters via hiking, kayaking, or paddle boarding.

Mandu Mandu Gorge – a captivating natural wonder that stands out for its rugged beauty and serene atmosphere. Take in the spectacular views of the Ningaloo Reef and surrounding country and connect with the untouched wilderness as you walk through a gorge that boasts towering rock formations and lush vegetation.

Where to stay ~

Wilderness Tent – nestled between the dunes and steps away from Ningaloo Reef lies our comfortable and spacious wilderness tents, providing luxury amongst a remarkable, yet remote location.

Honeymoon Tent – located a little further away, with its private beach access and romantic touches, this tent is designed for honeymoons, anniversaries and ‘let’s reconnect’ trips.

When to visit ~

June – October is an ideal time to visit Sal Salis. Why? Because whale sharks and humpback whales migrate past the coast. Dive into the clear water for an encounter with these beautiful animals for an experience you won’t quickly forget.

What is included ~

Whether you stay in a Wilderness Tent or Honeymoon Tent, from the moment you step into our slice of paradise, everything is included…

The camp welcomes all guests with gourmet dining and an open bar, to be enjoyed anytime throughout the day. Outside camp luxuries, you’re left to explore the surrounding land and reef. Perhaps a guided sunrise walk through dreamy Cape Range National Park or maybe the underwater haven of Ningaloo Reef is calling your name with a kayak and snorkel.

The best part of Sal Salis is that there’s no hidden costs, so you can map your days with as much or as little as desired.
